I'm a dedicated and approachable sixth form student currently studying Maths, Chemistry, and Psychology. With strong academic results and experience working with children through both a part-time weekend job and a school holiday childcare club, I understand how to support young learners in a way that’s both effective and encouraging. My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I focus on creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as that’s a key part of learning. I like to break down difficult concepts into simpler steps and use real-life examples to help make the material more relatable and easier to understand. I typically structure my lessons to last around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the age and focus of the student. I make sure to include a mix of explanation, practice, and review, and I always encourage questions and active participation. I’m currently in sixth form studying Maths, Chemistry, and Psychology, and I have a strong academic background in these subjects. I also have experience working with children of different ages through my part-time jobs, which helps me explain things clearly and keep students engaged. My lessons are best suited for primary and secondary school students who need help with homework, understanding school topics, or preparing for exams. I’m happy to support students from around ages 7 to 16, and I can adjust my teaching approach depending on their level and confidence.
