About Charlotte
I am an elite sports scholar at Loughborough University. This means that I understand and value both the meaning of hard work and commitment but also the need to have a work-life balance. There are other things in people's lives other than academics that are important and I know how to be flexible and work around that. It has also taught me so much about communication and leadership that translates nicely into the lessons. After my BSc in Geography I plan to move on to doing my teacher training so this is something that I am truly passionate about. I have been to many countries over the years and have only recently come back from Iceland and I was able to see many of the geographical features that are studied at GCSE and A-Level in person.

I am very keen to tutor students on all things geography. I have a wide background on both human and physical geography and love to share my knowledge. I have had my own specific academic struggles that I had amazing teachers who helped me overcome them so I would love the chance to pass this on and help others. I will create custom lesson plans and adapt how I teach based on how best you learn. This is something that improves as time goes on so I will be truly committed to getting to know all of my students as individuals. I would ideally like to be given a couple of days' notice with which syllabus the student is working from so I can personalise what I teach to what that specific exam board wants you to know. I can also teach specific issues and tackle any questions they may have.
