I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
Through my studies, I have developed strong writing and communication skills, which I enjoy sharing with others. Typical lessons last 60 minutes, and are aimed towards primary school ages - whether that is SATS prep, 11+ tests or general English help.
I have worked as a teacher and teaching assistant for 3 years with a focus on years 5 and 6 where I planned activities and tailored them to any specific child in a way they understand the task.
My techniques include practice papers and then looking over potential errors and making mind maps/explaining errors in an easy to understand way to make sure the students are engaged.
