About Sara
Hi, I'm Sara, a Marketing student at the University of Birmingham with a passion for helping young people reach their full potential. Throughout my education, I developed strong mathematical and analytical skills, achieving a Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics, a Grade A in A-level Business and a grade B in A-level economics. Studying maths-intensive subjects has strengthened my problem-solving abilities and enables me to explain mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible way. By breaking topics into manageable steps and encouraging active participation throughout each lesson, I help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and develop the skills needed to improve academic performance.

My approach to tutoring is centred around creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I tailor every lesson to the individual student's needs and use a variety of interactive activities to keep learning enjoyable, such as quick quizzes, "find the mistake" challenges and timed problem-solving tasks.
