About Aakanksha
I have done my Bachelors in History honors from gargi college, Delhi University and Masters in History of Art from National Museum Institute and have recently completed my b.ed from Maharshi Dayanand University(MDU) with an aggregate of 78.34%. In addition to that, I have also cleared CTET with 61.33% in December 2019. I have teaching experience of 1.5 years as an Assistant Professor in the College of Art where I taught aesthetics to 3rd year and 4th year students as a guest faculty. Before that, I was engaged with the art and museum field and have worked for organisations like IGNCA, National Museum etc.My role at various organisations have helped me develop good interpersonal, communication and public dealing skills. I'm currently working with Vidya school,Gurgaon as PGT History.

I like to engage with students in a manner that is not only interesting but also relates to real life events. I use a lot of examples from daily life and current affairs so that students can relate it to the events happening around which helps them broaden their horizons and think them beyond the conventional method. I teach them in a way that it becomes a holistic experience overall and isn’t just restricted to classroom. My philosophy of teaching is that student’s ideas should be welcomed and encouraged and they should be allowed to interact a lot. I make sure my classes are interactive and while maintaining the demeanor of a teacher, I also act friendly with them. To create the perfect balance is my idea of teaching.
