About Mayu
I graduated Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Microbiology at La Trobe University. And I am currently a PhD students conducting research in neuroscience at the University of Melbourne. I have tutoring experience of 5 years in biology, chemistry and Japanese. My background is Japanese and I have grown up in Japan until I finish my high school.

My teaching method is always trying my best to let my students to love what they are studying. I also love to give a lot of homework and let the students do as much as they can. I do change my method depending on the student needs and purpose of learning however, i would like to teach by using several approaches. For example in the language i like to teach both the oral and writing whereas in science subjects, i prefer to include not only the knowledge on the textbook and lectures but also go in to the depth with some background information which helps to understand more on that particular topic.
