About Ella
Hi my name is Ella and I am currently in year 11. What I most enjoy about tutoring is adapting the Way I explain content to make sense to different people and creating a comfortable supportive environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions so they can gain confidence in lessons and understand the way that they learn best so that they can achieve their goals

I personally believe that students learn most effectively by applying content to real life situations, by doing this they can associate what they are learning to something that they do in their everyday life, bettering their understanding of why they are doing what they are doing to reach an answer, rather than just memorising a method. I also believe that consolidation is key which is why when planning sessions I always try to incorporate something we have done previously to refresh their memory and make sure that they fully understand all content whilst they have a space to ask questions. I can also recommend revision guides or work books that I believe would be beneficial or free online resources that they can access and ask me questions about.
