I like to keep a fun and interactive atmosphere for my students, and approach their needs with care and patience.
A typical lesson would involve reviewing the student's notes and lesson topics from class, followed by working through either homework or practice problems together. I am a big believer in practice makes perfect, so there will be a good amount of practice problems till the student is confident. The student will be working on problems individually, then solving things together after their attempt.
