About Lina
Welcome to my page! I'm Lina, a current year 12 QCE student from the Gold Coast and am on track to receive an ATAR of 98.2. My favorite subject is mathematics and is definitely my strong suit. My notable school results and achievements are: - Mathematical Methods subject award (99) - Japanese subject award (100) - Completing an English accelerated program in 2024, 24/25 on the external exam - High school Academic Academy program, gold medalist in World Scholar's Cup My purpose for tutoring is to unlock the potential and interest in studying for each student. I want students to feel accomplished and proud of themselves after achieving a goal, whatever it may be. Of course, academic achievement is the main goal for each student, but our own interest in learning and genuine passion is what leads us there.

I'm open to tutoring students from Year 7-11, with subject preferences for year 11 being Mathematical Methods, Japanese, Chemistry, and English. There are no preferences for the younger grades but of course, these will be more suitable! Lesson details: - $30 per one-hour lesson - I will ask the student for their strengths and weaknesses, learning style, and academic goals in the subject and create a corresponding study plan per lesson. However, potential assistance with assignments and homework is great too! - Availabilities are all day on weekends and school holidays, and generally 4:30-8:30 PM (1-hour sessions) per school night, but changes can be made to suit the student's availability! - Tutoring will happen in a public library
