About Selin
I am a current vocal performance student at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Music and Performing Arts Professions. I am studying with a concentration in Musical Theater, and have undergone cross-training in other styles such as contemporary and choral singing. My education has given me knowledge surrounding the pedagogical factors of how the voice works and how to use it to its strongest and healthiest extent in order to take on demanding forms of singing while keeping the voice in shape. I can help prepare students that are beginning to go to NYSSMA strengthen their aural skills foundations to build their confidence in sight singing and learn how to apply it to other factors of singing.
