About Joseph
I am always learning for new things to learn, I love a good conversation, and most important of all, I love to give back. My values of communication, persistence, and courage are what I go by, from my weekly St Vinnies Night Patrol to guitar practice, I love giving back to the community and spreading smiles. Where the reason I chose to tutor was to give back to the community and the younger generations, guiding young minds to academic success while spreading contagious smiles all around, it's why I do what I do. I view my teaching as friendly companion support, not a tutor-student perspective, as I believe that comfortability, security and enjoyment are paramount in one's learning. I also love the great outdoors, sports, a good meal and a good talk, so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

I was a high school student myself a few years back, and I really do understand how the one traditional teaching method may not be for everyone, so I really hone in on class-related games and conversations that work for my students, while also focusing my undivided attention on providing resources and feedback whenever needed. I teach in 45 min blocks for senior students, and 30 min blocks for younger students, acknowledging that they are still kids, helping everyone involved stay on top of their work, while learning effectively. I have a multitude of tutoring experience from Company/center teaching to individualized private tutoring, where I can offer online academic aid, but preferably face-to-face lessons (I can come to you don't worry!). I can teach English and Mathematics for primary and high school, but I specialize in Senior HSC Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
