About Makayla
I am currently studying Psychology and Criminology at Deakin University. I have always genuinely loved school, and I strongly believe that enjoying your classes is a major factor in achieving strong results. That mindset played a significant role in my own academic success and continues to shape how I approach learning today.
I am confident that I can help students further develop their skills in Biology and Mathematics, while also strengthening universally applicable study techniques that lead to lasting academic success. My aim is not only to support strong results, but to help students build confidence and develop a genuine passion for learning.

I am a university student with a strong passion for Mathematics and Biology, subjects I genuinely loved throughout high school. In Year 12, I achieved a 90+ ATAR, performed highly in Mathematical Methods and Biology, and was awarded Dux in three of my classes. Although I am new to tutoring (unless you count my younger sister) I understand what it takes to succeed in these subjects and am confident in helping students build both their skills and their confidence.
I focus on breaking down complex ideas step-by-step, strengthening foundational knowledge, and teaching effective study strategies.
My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand the material and enjoy the class.
I am happy to offer online tutoring sessions with flexible scheduling.
