About Lucía

I study culture, media and creative industries at kings college and have always enjoyed teaching languages, especially to children. I usually include fun activities like cooking, drawing or even making tutorial videos in order to work on their language skills. I have also taught adults Spanish and can broaden vocabulary for different jobs and careers.

About the lesson

I have taught English in Barcelona to children from 4 to 10 years of age. I have mostly worked using games and activities that are not only aimed to learn vocabulary but to use it in both oral and written expression. I have also taught English as a volunteer in Nepal and Zanzibar which was a more academically focused class.

Lucia is an excellent teacher.

I have had the pleasure of working with her as we both taught together a class of twenty students during three weeks.

As a teacher, she always listens to her students and adapts her lessons to their individual needs. She is very patient and will calmly answer any questions a student will have. She always prepares her lessons in advance and tries to make them as fun and educational as possible. Thus, her students are always interested by what she will be teaching.

I recommend Lucia as a teacher as I would also be recommending her as a person. I am aware teachers always have an impact on younger students, Lucia is an amazing person who has a good influence on everyone who surrounds her. She is kind and generous and has taught me to get the best out of every situation.
