About Lydia
I am a student at university studying history. I too had a tutor during my time in school and realised the benefit it had on both my grades and academic confidence. Tutoring for me provides a safe space with distraction to work on the the topics or areas found challenging in school and I believe I can provide that service.
I am very chatty and personable and often will feature my house pets roaming around in the background of our sessions and hope to help out as much as I can. Due to my flexible schedule sessions can be rearranged and communication is clear and available when needed.

In terms of lesson/session plans I will work with the students style of learning and provide task sheets and many example essays or extracts to show the direction we are aiming to achieve.
In advance to the session receiving topics and areas the student needs to work on helps me plan effectively and enables me to see which areas require the most improvement.
Happy to provide free call prior to starting our tutoring sessions to get to know me, ask questions and make sure I am the right person to help with your needs.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
I had a lovely tutoring experience with Lydia when she ran in person sessions. I needed support with my undergraduate degree History assignments and she frequently proof-read my work as well as provided a myriad of suggestions to improve my quality of writing, sentence structure, and analysis. Would recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a tutor who is friendly, approachable, and strives to help others to achieve highly.
