About Cameren
Florida native Cameren Anai Williams is a third-year undergraduate student studying viola with Prof. Carol Rodland at Juilliard as a J. L. Greene fellow. Williams has participated in different programs with some of the most influential being the New York String Orchestra Seminar, Aspen Music Festival and National Youth Orchestra of the USA. Williams’ future goal is to become an orchestral musician and teach at the collegiate level. Williams’ foundation, CamAnai Strings, repairs and donates instruments to students who lack the financial resources ((concealed information) Cameren plays on a 1980 “Kinu Inge” Hiroshi Iizuka traditional 16 ½ viola.

I like to use technical ability to enhance your message of what you want to say musically. I find this to be a really effective way of learning because you’re addressing two problems while fixing one of them. It takes a lot of focused work but it’s also a lot of fun.
