About Zhihao
My name is Danny Zhang, and although I am not an education major, my qualifications, experience, and passion for teaching more than make up for it. I am dedicated to helping students succeed by making lessons both effective and enjoyable. Encouragement of student-led problem solving, allowing them to explain concepts back to me, which reinforces learning. Visual aids and diagrams when needed to simplify abstract concepts. I also emphasize building study strategies so students become more independent over time. 2. A Typical Lesson Plan: A 1-hour session might look like this: 5 min: Quick check-in and review of previous material. 10 min: Clarify doubts or questions from homework/assignments. 25 min: Introduction of new topic with examples and guided practice. 15 min: Independent practice by the student with my support as needed. 5 min: Recap key takeaways and set action items (homework or review plan). I keep sessions flexible to allow deeper dives into tricky areas if needed. 3. What Sets Me Apart: Personalized approach: I pay close attention to each student’s unique challenges and adapt my methods accordingly. Patience and encouragement: I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
