About Cara
Hiya, my name is Cara and I am a mathematics tutor. I love tutoring mathematics as I strongly believe it can be a rewarding and enjoyable subject for everyone, there is no such thing as a bad mathematician!
I like to make sure my students feel confident in their abilities, as well as confident in asking questions and identifying areas they might struggle in. I know mathematics can be an intimidating subject, especially at secondary school where the content can be taught quickly, so I especially enjoy watching my clients gain confidence and learn to love the subject as much as I do.

I ensure that I create a friendly and non-judgemental space in all my tutoring sessions as I know a lot of students can find mathematics intimidating. I can give lessons ranging from one to three hours. I received a 9 for my GCSE mathematics, and an A* at A-level, so I understand the marking criteria well, and will take on students from between year 7 to year 11.
