About Stella
As a student myself, I understand the stress that coursework can put on a person. There were many nights throughout high school when I would not be able to sleep from the stress of it all. With my sessions, I hope to not only teach my students but also give them a feeling of support and a friend. It is easy, as a student, to feel extremely overwhelmed and defeated with schoolwork, but I am here to help students realize they can conquer any project, essay, or test they may have.

I enjoy working with kids ranging from elementary to high school seniors as this is where I have the most experience. My normal procedure for tutoring (while this may change depending on the student) is first to study the material myself to gain the best understanding I can. After this, I take notes on what the student informs me are their problem areas. This is when I plan out the schedule or lesson plan for that session depending on the student's needs. Along with this, depending on the student's age there will be age-appropriate incentives. I like to treat my sessions as more of a hang-out with my students or a study session together so they feel little to no stress.
