About Summer
My name is Summer, I am in my final year of sixth form doing biology, chemistry and maths. During my first year of sixth form I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD, prior to this my teachers had absolutely no hope for me, labelling me as “inattentive” and “unmotivated” which in turn caused my grades to take a turn for the worse. I realised that in order to achieve, somebody has to believe in you and that is exactly what I will do. I believe that anybody with the right support can achieve fantastic grades, and everybody deserves someone in their corner when stressful exams come around.

I am personally neurodiverse so my approach to tutoring is for students who are neurodiverse and/or struggling with their STEM subjects at GCSE. I have a weakness-focused approach which is great for big improvements in a short time. I use mark schemes and exam questions along with lecture-based approaches to introduce new knowledge then consolidate and correct with mark schemes and partial past papers depending on the current and ideal skill level in the subject.
