About Maya
My future aspiration of becoming a teacher in secondary schools is what has driven me to become a tutor. I am passionate about inspiring people particularly in my subject of interest, just as my past teachers have. Being a tutor will allow me to provide extra help as well as motivate and provide an inspiring and interesting outlook on the subject of History. Studying history hasn't always come to me naturally and I have previously struggled with essay writing. However my method to learning and revising enabled me to excel and enjoy the subject even further. This, I hope, I can provide to my students.

Tutoring in all levels of History (ages 11-18), 1 hour sessions Providing help in teaching content as well as a focus on exam techniques (source analysis and essay writing). Particular topics I can teach: - AQA GCSE history course: Germany, 1890–1945: Democracy and dictatorship - AQA GCSE history course: Conflict and tension: The inter-war years, 1918–1939 - AQA GCSE history course: Britain: Health and the people: c1000 to the present day - AQA A level history course: The Tudors: England, 1485–1603 - AQA A level history course: Revolution and dictatorship: Russia, 1917–1953 Relevant qualifications: History- 9 at GCSE a B in A-level (A* in coursework) EPQ- A* with history as the chosen topic Experience: I have run after school revision sessions for A level students
