About Kajal
Hi, my name is Kajal. I’m studying psychology at the university of Southampton and I love my course because it incorporates so many I enjoy such as maths and biology as well as psychology. I understand the difficulty in revising for exams and I found that having a GCSE and A level maths tutor significantly boosted my confidence. Them helping me improve as well as helping me believe in myself is what helped me get the grade I wanted. I found out I loved teaching through my work experience at a primary school, where I helped students with maths. I also enjoyed being a psychology mentor at my school, helping students in the year below me.

Hi! My teaching methods include a lot of interactive games/starters as well as past papers and practice questions from exercises. I approach each lesson differently depending on my student’s learning style! My lessons tend to be 55 minutes but I can go up to 2 hours (giving a 5-10 minute break half way through to allow the student to come back for the second half of the lesson feeling recharged)! I have been tutoring GCSE maths for almost a full academic year now and have delivered hundreds of lessons! I teach maths GCSE (foundation and higher).
