About Ayesha
I am a second-year Politics student at Trinity College, Cambridge who achieved 3 A*s at A-Level (Maths, Sociology, Politics) and 10 A*s at GCSE. .
I have lots of experience privately tutoring, both following the national curriculum and with specific exams eg Stowe School entry exams. As part of the tuition company Explore Learning, I have tutored over 300 children in English and Maths from ages 4-17, so have hundreds of hours of experience (including with children with SEN).
I have mentored students through the university application process, whether their aim is to get into Oxbridge or simply get into university! I also was successful in my own application to Cambridge with very little support from my school.

As I have experience in 1:1 and group tutoring, I understand different approaches work best with different children, and can adapt a personal teaching style to every student. I ensure disciplined learning, but make sure that every lesson is fun and interactive to encourage students to actually want to learn.
I reward both scores and effort, making sure that progress is measured a rewarded relative to each student's attitude and personal ability/goals.
