About Luke
I have aided classmates in understanding coursework for as long as I can remember. Through this unofficial tutoring I provided for my k-12 years, I developed the skills necessary to connect with students in order to help them learn. I graduated high school with a 4.6 GPA and a 1500 on my SAT. I currently play soccer at my university, so I understand any other student-athletes needing help with their studies as that same balance is something I deal with every day myself.

I am currently a college student, which gives me an advantage in connecting with the students I tutor. Because I am still actively learning, I understand the challenges students face and can often explain concepts in a simpler, more relatable way. Throughout school, I usually had to work through the logic behind problems in order to truly understand them. That experience shaped the way I teach. I focus on breaking problems down step by step and explaining the reasoning behind each part so students can build a deeper understanding instead of relying only on memorization. My lessons are best suited for high school students in AP or regular classes, as well as students in early-level college math and science courses.
