About Anthony
As someone who has been through a lot of post secondary education, I have never been shy of seeking out tutors to tackle problems that I am having trouble with. I think that receiving help from someone who has once been in your position is so valuable. I've always loved mathematics and chemistry, and found that often times, it's a lack of one-on-one teaching that makes students confused; learning at your own speed is so important for the learning process.

I believe that working from the ground up is the most important approach when learning a new topic! I want to make sure students understand foundations of concepts and work their way up into becoming masters of a particular topic. A typical lesson plan will be roughly 50% foundations and concepts and 50% problem solving/practical learning. As a UBC Science graduate and current Pharmacy student at UBC, I have a lot of experience in chemistry, math, and statistics - I have seen many different problems and concepts introduced in numerous contexts. My lessons are geared towards the high school/introductory university level.
