About Charity
I have been a math teacher for 10 years. I spent 6 years in 6th grade and have spent 4 years in 7th grade. I have 2 boys and 3 dogs. So I have had plenty of practice with all levels of math. My favorite part of teaching is seeing light bulbs appear when students have an aha moment.

I love guiding students through questioning to help them discover the steps to solve a problem. Model steps to show students correct way to approach a topic. Word problems can be very intimidating so we will practice strategies to break them apart when encountered. Try to show different methods for solving so students can find the way that works best for them. I have 10 years of experience between 6th and 7th grade math but can also help with any elementary level math topics.
