About Ellen
I'm a second year Medical Student at the University of Birmingham. I am passionate about teaching and helping others. Achieved all 9's in GCSEs and 3 A* in A level. My friends describe me as confident, chatty and approachable. I have a particular interest in Biology but am also happy to tutor in maths or chemistry as well. I love sports especially running and run almost every day as well as competing regularly.

Can offer 1 or 2 hour lessons at timings that work for you. Have previously been a Maths tutor with TeamUp for disadvantaged children and tutored both Chemistry and Biology to family friends. Teach GCSE or A level students. My lessons are very interactive to ensure understanding with a focus on exam technique and how to form answers that will hit the points from the mark scheme.

I have the luxury of being Ellen’s housemate, not only is she very friendly and kind but she’s also an incredible listener who explains things very clearly. I also tutor and we share a pupil for different subjects, the pupil also thinks Ellen’s lessons are great and has become much more confident in biology. As a current medic she has a wealth of biology knowledge, this paired with her kind nature means she loves taking time to help others thrive in an educational or personal setting.
