About Ailsa
I am currently in my 4th year at medical school. I spent my GCSEs and A Levels trying out different learning techniques and found what worked for me. I’m hoping to pass on my knowledge of how to revise and learn to my students. I’m also very aware of how tricky learning new content can be, and how spending a little more time with someone going over topics can be really helpful.

I believe in tailoring my tutoring to the student. There are many ways for people to learn, either through mind maps, flashcards or practise questions! It’s all about finding the right way of learning for the individual.
I will work on improving confidence in my students, whilst also working on topics that they find particularly tricky!
There are no silly questions and I aim to create a safe learning environment for all of my students.
