About Brian
I grew up a lover of basketball and video games. I never enjoyed being a learner, and struggled with math early on. Because of this I was disengaged with school at higher levels. I became a teacher to help change how the youth feels about school. I’m currently coaching public school teachers to help them engage their students more to help them have a better experience both in the classroom and out of school in the real world.

I try to engage my students in lessons through finding their interests and making them connect to the current lesson.In my final years as a teacher, before becoming an instructional coach, I used a flipped classroom method to help my students think on their own to better understand the content. I was able to differentiate those lessons to help those who needed more guided practice and modeling obtain success.
