About Glory
As a new tutor, I have an intense interest and willingness to help other students improve while improving myself. With full assurance, I'm not the type of person that will force others to achieve expectations of what I think is suitable for them. Instead, I want students who need my help to establish their own goals or anticipated outcomes so we can work together in cooperation.
I'm not only looking forward in becoming a free tutor but also making new friends that can negotiate and converse with me on concepts of doubt. I'm highly grateful for any suggestions of improvement in my journey of tutoring and corrections of any inaccurate information conveyed. As a student myself, I developed realistic and engaging systems to help other students in their education by:
Enhance study interest. (Won't force a student in reluctance).
Lessons are planned by the student's academic standing, requirements, and disposition; (based on the student's school textbook or regional curriculum).
Explain concepts with clarity, conciseness, and examples.
Avoid common mistakes in reviews and exams by comparing and contrasting.
Can set some homework or additional exercises if in demand.
Can write weekly or monthly reports based on the student's progress, performance, and future outcomes if in demand.
Capable of offering lessons in both English and Chinese, as additional help for EAL students.
Can offer help in a variety of subjects in levels ranging from elementary school to high school. (Prefer science and language arts, but maths and history were considered).
Free tutoring online, lessons are adjustable in times of school break. Restricted to after-school-times if school is on.
