About Jaynemarie
I teach High School Math, which has always been my dream. If you are struggling, I will do everything possible to help you understand and pass the year. If you are doing well, but wish you were doing a little bit better, I will challenge you and push you ahead of your classmates. I have taught Honors level classes as well, so if you are just trying to be the best, I will push you and challenge you until you feel confident that you can teach me.
I have tutored friends and family for years, but I have finally decided to offer my expertise to a broader audience. I look forward to working with you!

I tutor based on your level. If you are a grade or two behind, I will get you caught up! A typical lesson with me with start with a warm up consisting of material you have recently learned. Depending on your comfort level with the warm up, we will jump into the lesson or example. I am available for Pre-Algebra (or 8th grade Math), Algebra I, and Algebra II. I have taught College Prep and Honors classes.
What sets me apart as a tutor, is that my goal isn't solely for you to just do well on your upcoming exam, but to make sure you understand the math and build your confidence. Many students have told me in September that they are "bad at math" and always will be. By June, those students are hugging me when they realize that they no only passed, but they are finally not terrified to move up to the next level!
