About Aliyyah
Hi I am Aliyyah, a student currently on a gap year before I undertake study as a History student at King's College London.
Having tutored younger students at my high school for two years now and having recently gone through exams, I can confidently say that I am well-versed in how to do well in the subject and achieve the best grades you possibly can.
I wish to make these sessions as interesting and informative as possible for you, and I hope we can work together with each session to help you in the greatest way and achieve your goals.

These lessons are aimed towards Edexcel IGCSE/ OCR A-level students, but I am more than welcome to take other students from different exam boards. The lessons will also last around an hour for each session; however, I am more than happy to do longer sessions if needed.
Within each lesson I aim to focus primarily on revision and exam techniques to ensure that each of my students will be able to structure answers in a coherent way that will gain them top marks in their exams. Furthermore, I would be more than happy to go over coursework and specific areas of difficulties such as literary devices and techniques, interpretations, context and more.
I encourage the students that I do tutor to come to these sessions with questions whether it be regarding their homework, coursework, or not understanding a lesson they have been taught. I am happy to take time to go over problem areas so they feel confident about those topics.
