About Camila
I graduated High School at a 4.8 weighted GPA and am currently enrolled as a junior in Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). I tutored students k-12 in mathematics, reading, and science since 2024 and now I want to focus on topics pertaining to my focus. I also passed AP calculus AB, BC, and Chemistry with a score of 5 for all of the courses.

I tutor in mathematics starting at algebra, going up to calculus I, II, and III. My methods include mastering concepts by introduction, examples, practicing memory retention, and then practicing numerical and word problems until it feels almost impossible to get the questions wrong. When grading work I find it most important to go over strengths first rather than mistakes.
For Chemistry I find the best way to learn is to master the fundamental basics via real world examples and applications then using the basics to build chemistry intuition. A chemist's intuition quickens the understanding of future concepts. Endless practice problems are the way to go to solidify understanding and building confidence.
