About Elsie
I am a current undergraduate student at the University of Cambridge, reading English. I have just completed my first year, achieving a first in my end of year exams and ranking within the top twenty percent of my year. Prior to this, I achieved top grades across four A Levels and an EPQ. I am well-qualified to teach all of these subjects (English Literature, History, French and Theatre Studies) up to A-Level, as well as English Language and Religious Studies to GCSE. In addition, I am well-placed to provide support for university applications, and particularly Oxbridge admissions including personal statements and interviews. I have the experience of securing my own space at Cambridge from a school with low historic progression to university, and very minimal support in place for potential Oxbridge applicants. As a current student, I can also give up-to-date information about university life and the Cambridge English course, and support preparations for the ELAT or CELAT based on my recent experience

I'm new to tutoring, but have strong academic credentials as well as strong communication skills, and am keen to get started! As a current undergraduate, I'm looking to teach secondary school students up to A Level . My specialism is English, but I can also teach French, History and Drama. Aside from a motivated focus on academic achievement, I have an encouraging, supportive and nurturing style and strong reliability and work ethic.
