About Jessica
I am a current BSc Applied Medical Science student in UCL. I did Maths, Biology and Chemistry for my A levels. I personally prefer teaching Biology and Chemistry other than Physics. I believe teaching others knowledge improves my communication skills and strengthens my memories.

Instead of me talking all the way through I would ask what the student knew at the start of the lesson. For explanations I like to use diagrams and images to show mechanisms as I find that really useful in teaching. I usually ask students the topics they want to do beforehand in order to start the lesson smoother. I tend to not give students homework as they already have tonnes of school work to do, but if they still feel a bit unsure of what we have learnt after the lesson, I am very happy to set them some work for revision.
