About Annalise
I am a current first year Biomedical Science student at the University of Bath. Having achieved A* grades in maths and further maths I would love continue this subject that I am particularly passionate about and pass on the thrill of learning and solving problems to my tutees. I am a beaver scout leader so have experience in working with young people, planning activities and ensuring they stay focused on the task at hand. I have also run a flute ensemble and through this I gained confidence in teaching and developed essential communication skills needed by a tutor.

I tutor GCSE and Alevel maths for students in year 10, 11, 12 or 13. A typical lesson would last 1 hour however depending on the students needs and preference this is flexible. My lessons follow a general structure of a starter task to introduce the topic, followed by going through worked examples together before pushing my students to attempt questions on their own. At the end of a lesson I reflect upon the learning experience and ask the student if they are still finding the topic difficult and what they would like to focus on for the next lesson.
