About Upasana
I am an approachable and friendly individual and am currently studying Medicine at Cardiff University. I used to find school difficult at times since I was always hesitant to ask teachers questions if I didn't understand a key topic and so I hope to provide a safe and relaxing environment for my pupils so that they develop confidence and assurance. Furthermore, I aim to incorporate applicative fact recall methods in the way of practise questions relevant to the specific exam board to ensure that students feel fully prepared for their exams and have good exam technique.
I am also a hard worker and work with all my pupils in helping them feel prepared and become secure in their knowledge of science and maths in a sustainable way in a calm and supportive environment.

Hello! The way I structure my lessons is very dependent upon the pupil I am teaching. I like to incorporate a variety of teaching methods such as videos, practise questions and interactive learning.
I believe fact recall to be an effective learning technique and so I aim to keep revising topics covered with my pupils to ensure maximal knowledge retention.
The typical length of my lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour and I have a multitude of teaching experience both online and in person using platforms such as My Tutor, Tutor Hunt and being the Teaching Lead for the Women in Surgery Society at Cardiff University.
My lessons are for GCSE and A Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry pupils.
