About Nya
My name is Nya and I have a profound interest in Mathematics. I am particularly fascinated by Mathematical Modelling as I love being able to visualise the practical applications of Maths and how Maths is applied to numerous different contexts in the every day world. I am a keen linguist as well and am learning German and Italian in my spare time. Furthermore, I play Netball and Badminton weekly to release some of the stress of my studies and as a good way to socialise with my friends.

- The first step that I would take would be to ask you which topics/areas/concepts you feel like you struggle with and don't have a lot of confidence with when answering exam questions.
- Then, I would set a bass line test incorporating a variety of topics to assess any further weak areas that you may not have identified and to make sure that these are covered as well in the lessons.
- Each lesson would focus on one specific topic, which you would struggle with, starting from the topics you would feel least confident about. We would then go over the main concepts of the topic and look at some worked examples. I would then run through some questions myself and to test your knowledge, each session would end with you attempting a set of exam questions and us going through the solutions at the end.
- At the start of each lesson, to consolidate, I would get you to attempt a few exam questions from the previous weeks topic.
- Each lesson is between 1-2 hours.
- Lessons could be for KS3-A Level and covering all abilities.
