I am an architectural and art historian with a background in Orientalism and Colonial art, though I am comfortable with western art from Gothic to present. I have graduate degrees from the University of Cambridge and The University of St Andrews.

I base my classes around understanding the basics of art and architectural history. I also attempt to use relevant and fun subjects in order to engage students in the material, such as examining “ugly babies” in art history as an approach to analysing images of infants in renaissance paintings.
