I have years of experience reading writers’ work and helping reveal the hidden strengths within unfinished stories. There’s little more rewarding than watching a piece evolve into what it was always meant to be. Through my own journey as a writer, I’ve picked up lessons I wish I’d known earlier — and now I want to offer that guidance to others.

Lessons focus on short fiction and the development of your prose, with an emphasis on strengthening existing pieces. Over time, sessions will be fully tailored to your individual writing needs, goals, and style.
Whether you are preparing a university entrance portfolio, applying for a writing course, refining a dissertation, or developing personal work with the aim of publication, each lesson will be structured to elevate your writing. We will work to sharpen your voice, enhance clarity and depth, and explore the themes within your work to bring out its unique strengths.
Sessions run for 1–2 hours and remain flexible according to student requirements and concentration levels.
As the course progresses, I will recommend relevant readings. Where appropriate, these will be paired with targeted writing exercises to support your development between sessions.
Students should be at A-level standard or above.
