About Henrietta
With 7 years of dedicated teaching experience and over 150 students successfully trained, I specialise in teaching violin to learners at all stages of their musical journey. My experience has helped me refine a teaching method that is both systematic and inspiring.
I focus strongly on fundamentals, including posture alignment, bowing technique, tone production, finger accuracy, and rhythm discipline. I combine this technical training with musical interpretation to ensure students develop both skill and artistry.
My lessons are carefully structured yet flexible enough to adapt to individual needs. I provide personalised feedback, practice routines, and progress tracking to ensure measurable improvement. I also integrate music theory and listening exercises to build comprehensive musicianship.

My teaching approach for violin combines strong communication, adaptability, and practical understanding. I start by identifying each student’s learning style and goals, then design lessons that are structured but flexible.
I ensure students clearly understand posture, finger placement, bow control, rhythm accuracy, and tone development before moving to advanced techniques.
Alongside violin training, I include music theory, scale systems, ear training, sight reading, improvisation basics, and ensemble performance skills. I use examples from real performance settings such as concerts, competitions, and exams to help students apply their learning confidently.
I also focus on building consistency through guided practice plans and regular feedback. My goal is to nurture technically skilled, musically expressive, and self-motivated violinists who continue learning with passion and dedication.
