About Heng
Hi! I’m Heng, a dedicated and patient tutor based in Cheras. I have almost 1 year of part-time experience teaching in a tuition center, guiding kindergarten and primary students in subjects such as Math, Science, Chinese, and Art. I enjoy helping children discover that learning can be fun and rewarding. My students often describe me as friendly, encouraging, and easy to talk to, which helps them feel comfortable and confident during lessons. Even though I’m not a full-time teacher, I always prepare carefully for each class to make sure every student understands at their own pace. I believe that with the right guidance and motivation, every child can improve and enjoy learning. I look forward to helping your child build strong foundations, gain confidence, and learn with joy!

My teaching style focuses on understanding rather than memorizing. I like to use games, visuals, and real-life examples to make each lesson interesting, especially for younger students.
A typical lesson lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s attention span and school schedule. I always start with a short review of what they’ve learned before, then move on to new topics with simple explanations and practice activities.
I have over almost 1year of experience teaching in a tuition centre, where I taught kindergarten and primary students (ages 4–12) in subjects like Maths, Science, Chinese, and Art. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve step by step, and enjoy the learning process.
My lessons are suitable for kindergarten and primary school students, especially those who need a friendly and patient tutor to guide them at their own pace.
