About Julianna
I’m Julianna, a certified teacher and lifelong educator with a passion for helping students discover what they’re capable of. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve taught in classrooms, worked one-on-one with learners of all ages, and developed creative programs that make learning feel meaningful and engaging.
I hold a Bachelor of Education and am one final submission away from completing my Master of Professional Education, with a focus on equity and inclusive teaching practices. My experience spans literacy and math support, enrichment for advanced learners, and tailored instruction for students with learning differences or those who need an extra boost of confidence.
Parents and students describe me as patient, adaptable, and encouraging. I believe every learner has unique strengths, and my role is to uncover them while building the skills and strategies they need to succeed. Whether we’re tackling tricky math concepts, developing strong reading habits, or preparing for a big test, I make sure lessons are both effective and enjoyable.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me running my small family homestead, reading with my kids, or creating hands-on learning activities inspired by the world around us.

Hello there! I am a patient, creative teacher who will do everything I can do to help you improve your reading skills, comprehension and confidence. After teaching for a decade and working to help my own children learn how to read, I have proven methods and tricks to help even the most reluctant readers. I am happy to work with new and emerging readers and older students looking to brush up on basics, learn a new language and tackle new skills. I also really enjoy real-life learning opportunities as a means to activate your brain!
