About Alia
I have 7 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Bachelor’s in Guitar Performance and a Master’s in Contemporary Music. My academic background strengthened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of modern musical styles. I have worked with beginners and developing players, guiding them towards steady improvement and musical confidence.
I believe learning guitar should be structured but inspiring. I carefully observe each student’s progress and adjust lessons according to their goals. Providing clear explanation and patient correction helps learners feel secure and motivated. Watching students perform songs confidently gives me great professional satisfaction.
Beyond teaching, I continue composing and performing in local music settings. Ongoing practice keeps my skills refined and my lessons practical. I am dedicated to helping students build technical strength, creative expression, and lasting confidence through guitar education.

My guitar lessons are designed to build strong technique while encouraging creativity and independence. I begin by teaching correct finger placement, comfortable posture, and steady strumming patterns. Students practise chord transitions and rhythm exercises to improve coordination and timing. I explain concepts clearly in simple English so beginners feel confident and supported. Establishing solid fundamentals allows learners to progress smoothly without frustration.
As students improve, we explore advanced techniques such as barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, and melodic improvisation. I introduce basic music theory so students understand how chords are formed and how songs are structured. We work on complete pieces that match the student’s interests while still challenging their ability. Clear weekly practice goals help maintain steady progress.
Performance preparation is included to build confidence and stage comfort. I guide students through tempo control, expressive playing, and audience awareness. My aim is to help learners become confident guitarists who understand both technique and creativity. Through structured lessons and encouragement, students develop skill, independence, and enjoyment in playing guitar.
