About Mackayla
Hi! I am Mackayla, or Miss. Kayla. I believe learning should be supportive, engaging, and encouraging. My goal as a tutor is to help students understand concepts clearly while building their confidence in school. I use simple explanations, fun learning activities, and step-by-step guidance so students can feel comfortable asking questions and improving their skills. During lessons, I focus on creating a positive environment where students feel supported and motivated to try their best. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to fit each learner’s needs and pace. I especially enjoy working with elementary students who need help with reading, writing, basic math, or homework support. Helping students feel proud of their progress and excited about learning is the most rewarding part of teaching.
As a future educator, I am dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations while also encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.

My name is Mackayla, and I am a Teaching Professions student at Medina County Career Center, preparing to become an elementary school teacher. I am passionate about helping young learners grow academically while also building their confidence and love for learning.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and interactive learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, supportive, and adapted to their individual learning styles. I use techniques such as guided practice, visual examples, reading activities, and fun learning games to help students understand concepts more clearly.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previously learned material, followed by introducing a new concept through simple explanations and examples. Students then practice the skill with guidance and support so they can feel comfortable completing the work independently. I always make sure students leave the lesson feeling more confident in their abilities.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my formal training in education and my dedication to creating a positive learning environment. Through my teaching program, I have learned strategies to support different learning styles and help students stay motivated and engaged.
