About Sofia
Studied at CROEV (Centro Residencial de Oportunidades Educativas en Villalba), a school specialized in science and mathematics. I completed all four years of high school there, gaining a strong foundation in math and critical thinking. Since my freshman year, I’ve been tutoring classmates and helping them pass their classes with personalized explanations and lots of patience. I later started tutoring family members and neighbors at home, and now I’m excited to continue doing so in a more professional setting! I’m fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with students from different backgrounds and explain concepts in the language they feel most comfortable with. My approach is creative, clear, and adapted to each person’s learning style — I focus on making even the most complicated topics feel simple and manageable.
