About IMRAN
I am experienced in teaching variety of mathematics courses at undergraduate levels offered in various disciplines. I have taught various mathematics courses offered in the departments like Business and Management Sciences, Bio-Sciences, Physics, Engineering and Computer Sciences as well as in the Department of Mathematics.

My teaching methodology has developed of a strong practical nature over the years and is based on two main principles. First, I motivate students by explaining the importance and rationale of the topic that I am going to introduce. Then I work with students individually as well as in small groups to work through these concepts and help them to succeed. Secondly, I strongly believe that the only way to learn Mathematics is to do Mathematics nevertheless introducing the topic at an intuitive level plays an important role in keeping students focused and motivated. I also engage my students in interactive and collaborative problem solving sessions so that they can gain confidence by solving problems on their own.
