About Rakshith
I am a Rising Sophomore at Cornell University majoring in Chemical Engineering with minors in Operations Research and Sustainable Energy Systems. I graduated from Eastchester Senior High School, topping my class in STEM subjects such as AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science A, AP Biology, and Physics. I have worked for Indimet. inc in process automation and am currently part of CU GeoData where I analyze subsurface soil resistivity and moisture. I am also working on stratified atmospheric dust collection in Arizona and hoping to pursue research in energy optimization.

I tutor high school and early college students in statistics. I like working with students on problems to understand their thought processes and show them my approach. Typically, I like to have students bring in homework or prior tests and work through problems. Additionally, if students are proficient in a topic, I may show them more complex problems to further their understanding of the subject at hand.
