About Melina
I have been a primary school teacher for over 24 years. I love my job, helping, teaching & supporting students through their educational journey. I migrated to Australia from Germany with my family in 1982 when I was only 6 years old. I knew not one word of English and I remember how daunting and scary my first few months in Australia were not understanding anything. I would love to help children such as I was feel comfortable to be able to communicate better through speaking English.

I have been an ESL student myself when migrating to Australia with my family at the age of 6 in 1982 from Germany. I understand the difficulties of navigating a new and foreign language. ESL is best learnt through regular conversations and dialogue.
