About Steven
I started taking Organ lessons when I was 8 years old but seriously started to study in the 8th grade after being inspired at the Chautauqua Institution ((concealed information) where I befriended a world-famous organist who took me under his wing. I actually learned how to fix and tune pipe organs before I started to learn to play. I was no prodigy- I was the one that had to practice for 3-5 hours a day- and I did. In college, though majoring in Psychology and Religion with the intention of being a Counseling minister at the time, I declared. minor in Organ and was in the Cleveland State Chorale which I toured Europe within the summer of 1989 singing and getting to play a pipe organ that Mozart practiced on as a child. I pursued my career in COnsleing which moved into Corporate Pyschology and Organizational Planning, but have always stayed in music. I have a baby grand in my home and play every day. THough no prodegy, I learned to play things I never thought I could play.

I was taught the Harold Gleason method to Pipe Organ which I can surely share. But it is really a Moto-memory based learning system where we focus on establishing correct motor memory that can evolve into playing!
