About Rhea
I am a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and a MSc in Nanophysics. My teaching blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on computational skills, helping students see how physics operates in both equations and simulations. I focus on integrating computational physics and data analysis to model real-world systems and understand experimental results. Whether it's simulating particle motion, solving differential equations, or analysing datasets, I guide students step by step. I teach numerical methods, programming for physics using Python, and data visualisation techniques. My sessions often include practical projects where learners write their own code to explore physical phenomena. I encourage creative problem-solving and emphasise clarity in presenting results. Through this approach, students gain confidence in both their physics understanding and technical skills. I’ve worked with university students and early-career researchers aiming to strengthen their computational background. My goal is to make complex topics approachable and useful for academic and research success. I offer patient, focused support to help learners navigate both physics concepts and coding challenges. With a solid foundation in computation, students can better analyse the world around them. Let’s explore how data and models can unlock deeper insights into physics.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on helping students build a strong understanding of core principles through active learning. I emphasise Newtonian mechanics, including forces, motion, and energy conservation, as the foundation of problem-solving in physics. Every concept is introduced with clear explanations and followed by practical, real-world examples. This helps students connect abstract ideas to things they see and experience every day. I guide learners through the laws of motion and energy step by step, showing how they apply across different scenarios. Whether it's a falling object or a moving car, we break it down together. My sessions include regular practice with targeted problems to build speed, accuracy, and confidence. I use visual aids and simple demonstrations to make difficult topics more accessible. I work especially well with Career Re-aligners and Theorists—those either returning to physics or eager to explore its deeper ideas. My goal is to create a learning space where questions are welcomed, and progress is steady. With one-on-one attention, I help each learner move from confusion to clarity. I provide consistent support, feedback, and encouragement to develop strong problem-solving habits. By the end of our lessons, you’ll not only solve physics problems but also understand the “why” behind each step. Together, we'll explore the rules that govern the physical world with curiosity and precision.
